We built David Littleproud MP's new website to make a vast electorate feel close, transparent, and easy to engage with.
Maranoa is one of the largest electorates in Australia, spanning dozens of towns and communities, which meant the old site's static, list-based approach couldn't capture the real story of where funding and support were landing. We approached the rebuild by putting the electorate itself at the centre: an interactive map of Maranoa lets constituents click into their own region and see funds raised and projects delivered nearby, turning abstract figures into something local and tangible. Alongside the map, a searchable news archive keeps constituents up to date on media releases and policy positions, while straightforward feedback forms make it simple for anyone in Maranoa to reach David's office directly. The result is a site that reflects the scale of the electorate while making it feel personal, built for a community that's spread wide but wants to feel heard.

The interactive map became the heart of the site for me; watching it come together so people could click into their own town and actually see where funding was going felt like the project's biggest win. Pairing that with a clean news archive and simple feedback forms meant the site wasn't just a brochure, it gave the community a genuine way to stay informed and reach out.
